The Cosmic Basket of July 2026: Why the Ultra-Rich Cooperate horizontally, and Why We Must Too

Have you ever wondered why the absolute richest people in the world—the tech billionaires, the oligarchs, the financial elites—always seem to get richer, no matter what chaos is happening in the world? The answer is actually incredibly simple, but once you see it, you can't unsee it.The richest people in the world cooperate horizontally. They don't care about borders, national identities, or cultural fights. Behind closed doors, they pool resources, share strategies, protect each other's interests, and work as a tight peer-to-peer network. Meanwhile, they keep the rest of us looking vertically. We are taught to look up to "strongman" leaders, politicians, and billionaires, pledging our loyalty to them in the hopes that they will save us or that their wealth will "trickle down." Even worse, we are manipulated into fighting each other horizontally—blaming our neighbours, immigrants, or working-class people in other countries for systemic issues like broken infrastructure and unfair resource distribution.

Right now, a rare and massive planetary event is happening in the skies, and it is here to show us that the only way to grow our collective wealth, well-being, and power is to copy the elite's playbook. It's time to start cooperating horizontally.

What is the "Barbault Basket"? Between July 19 and July 22, 2026, the universe is forming a highly unique geometric shape in the skies called Le Panier de Barbault (The Barbault Basket or Cosmic Cradle). Named after the brilliant French astrologer André Barbault, who predicted decades ago that 2026 would mark the beginning of a major rebuilding phase for humanity, this alignment is incredibly rare. Four heavy-hitting planets are locking into a perfect alignment at 4 degrees of their respective signs:

Jupiter at 4° Leo (representing the temptation of the "Sun King" or vertical leader).

Pluto at 4° Aquarius (representing the power of the horizontal collective and networks).

Uranus at 4° Gemini (representing brilliant, local, peer-to-peer ideas).

Neptune at 4° Aries (representing courageous empathy and action).

Because 4 is the number of foundations, structures, and physical reality, this "Basket" configuration is literally a blueprint for how we need to restructure our lives.

For thousands of years, human societies have been structured vertically. This was modelled after ancient "solar" religions—the idea of a single, all-powerful Sun God (like Ra in ancient Egypt) presiding over everyone else. This religious model was mirrored on Earth: one King, one Pope, or one President on top, and everyone else below them.Because of this ancient programming, we still do something deeply illogical today: A working-class person in Ohio or London often feels a strange loyalty or affinity toward a billionaire like Donald Trump or Elon Musk. But in reality, that working-class person has absolutely everything in common with a working-class factory worker in China, and nothing in common with a billionaire. The elite count on us ignoring this. They want us fighting over cultural differences or national borders. Why? Because as long as we are fighting each other horizontally, we aren't looking at the system itself. We aren't noticing that the top of the pyramid is hoarding the resources while the base is left to fight over the crumbs.

While the working class is kept busy fighting culture wars, the ultra-wealthy are doing the exact opposite. They don't let patriotism, religion, or borders get in the way of their business. They operate globally. They share tax havens, invest in each other's companies, and coordinate their efforts to keep the vertical hierarchy exactly as it is.They cooperate horizontally to keep their vertical power.

The "Barbault Basket" of July 2026 is a massive wake-up call. The central tension of this sky map is Jupiter in Leo (the temptation to worship a single, flashy, powerful leader) directly facing Pluto in Aquarius (the clean, undeniable truth that real power lies in peer-to-peer networks).

The message of the universe right now is: Stop looking up to the "Sun Kings." Start looking across at each other. We have to stop waiting for someone at the top of the hierarchy to save us or give us permission. We have to start building our own horizontal networks of support. At the local level, this is already happening, and the planetary energy is pushing us to do it even more:

Setting up local trade networks, tool libraries, and time-banking systems where an hour of work is worth an hour of work, bypassing corporate banks entirely.

Building community gardens, neighborhood crop swaps, and direct partnerships with local farmers so we aren't dependent on massive corporate supermarkets.

Moving away from top-down, vertical charity (where rich people give crumbs for tax write-offs) and moving toward mutual aid (where neighbours actively look out for neighbours because "we protect us"). Reclaiming our media by talking directly to each other, sharing real stories, and realising that the struggles of a family down the street—or across the globe—are exactly the same as our own.

The vertical structure only exists because we agree to look up to it. The moment we turn our heads and look at the people standing right next to us—the moment we realise our shared humanity is our greatest asset—the vertical power structure loses its grip. The billionaires have shown us that horizontal cooperation works. It's time we take that exact same strategy and use it to reclaim our lives, our communities, and our future. We don't need a saviour. We just need each other.
